What Makes a Great Court for Pickleball?

This is an important part of the game. The court should have the right dimensions, a durable surface meant to take the stress of play, and a high-quality net.

A regulation court size for pickleball is 44 ft x 20 ft. and an allowance for the out-of-bounds area. Net should be 36” at the posts and 34” in the middle.

It’s the ideal size for someone who wants to build a standalone court. Of course, the court surface needs to have great traction and shock absorption as well.
