Outdoor Basketball Hoop

Outdoor Basketball Hoop

Construction & Installation

Below are some of the things you need to consider if you want an outdoor basketball hoop constructed and/or installed in your property:

Space. More than the open space in your property, the area around the basketball hoop should allow it to be raised to its full height without hitting objects like tree branches, etc.

Hoop Type. If you’re looking for a hoop that just serves its function, portable ones are the best. They’re inexpensive and can be stowed easily. But if you’re considering building a court (regardless of its size), you might want to have an in-ground hoop installed.

Backboard material. Mostly, the material used for backboards are either tempered glass or plexiglass. Their durability prevent it from shattering. Other materials available are made of glass, acrylic, polycarbonate, and PVC. Again, if you’re after durability, tempered glass or acrylic is best for your hoop.

Our Process

Once you’ve settled on the size, dimensions, and other details of the court you want constructed and installed in your backyard, you will go through the following steps:

Get In Touch. Have the experts at Cornerstone Courts check your plans by getting in touch with us and discussing what you have in mind.

Phone Consult. Through phone consultation, we will be able to get all the details and get back to you with a quote. We may do a site visit if what you have in mind sounds complex.

Design. Once we have all the information needed, our team will prepare a plan/design for your review and approval. You’ll have a visual of how your court will look.

Collect or Schedule Install. As soon as all the materials needed arrive at our Port Melbourne warehouse, we will call you to arrange collection or schedule installation of your court.

Installation. Our team will then start the installation work! Depending on the size of the court, it will take us between a few hours or the whole day to finish everything.
