Netting Solutions

Ball stop netting is an important part of a finished court and one that’s easy to overlook until the ball has gone over the fence for the tenth time. Most residential courts sit in backyards where a wayward shot can cause real problems. The right netting keeps the play on the court and removes the frustration from the game.

All our netting comes in a standard 3m height with a range of standard and custom widths to suit your court dimensions.

Fence Mount Netting

A cost-effective solution for residential courts where an existing timber or metal fence provides the mounting point. Powder-coated black steel posts are secured directly to your fence line, with heavy-duty polyethylene mesh that holds up under regular play.

Specifications:

  • Powder-coated black steel posts (30mm)
  • Secured to a timber or metal fence
  • 100mm square mesh with rope borders
  • Heavy-duty 2mm (36 ply) high-density polyethylene
    From $435 installed

Heavy Duty Netting

For courts that need a more robust freestanding solution, our heavy-duty netting uses larger concreted steel posts with a removable sleeve system, so the posts can come out if needed. Retractable options are also available for courts where you want flexibility in how the space is used.

Specifications:

  • Powder-coated black steel posts (60mm)
  • Concreted into the ground in a removable sleeve
  • 100mm square mesh with rope borders
  • Heavy-duty 2mm (36 ply) high-density polyethylene
  • Retractable options available
    From $1,017 installed

Chainlink, Mesh & Commercial Fencing

For commercial courts, school facilities, and any site that requires a more substantial perimeter solution, we install chainlink and mesh fencing built for the application. Black PVC-coated mesh, powder-coated steel posts and rails, and a finish that suits a professional court environment.

Specifications:

  • Powder-coated black steel posts (60mm) and rails (42mm)
  • Concreted into the ground
  • Black PVC-coated mesh and fittings
  • Pricing on application

Hoops and Netting as Part of Your Court Build

If you’re building a new court with us, hoops and netting are coordinated as part of the same project. One team, one point of contact, everything installed and finished together. We source all MegaSlam hoops directly as a lifetime partner, which means the right model for your court type is specified from the start.

If you already have a court and need a hoop or netting added, get in touch. We can assess your setup and recommend the right solution.

Why Choose Cornerstone Courts for Your Basketball Hoop

We don’t just supply hoops. We specify, source, and install the right solution for your court, and we back everything we put on a court with genuine expertise and a team that’s accountable from start to finish.

Australia’s Best Hoops, Directly Sourced

As lifetime partners of MegaSlam, we have direct access to the best consumer hoops available in Australia. That partnership means better pricing, priority stock, and a product specification that’s matched to your court from day one, not whatever happens to be available off the shelf.

The Right Hoop, Specified and Installed Correctly

Choosing the wrong hoop for your court type is one of the most common and costly mistakes in a backyard build. We’ve seen it. Our team assesses your court, your site, and how the space will be used before recommending a model — so you end up with a hoop that performs, fits, and lasts, not one that looked right in a brochure.

One Team, One Point of Contact

Whether you’re adding a hoop to an existing surface or building a full court from the ground up, with Cornerstone you deal with one team throughout. No separate suppliers, no coordination headaches, no one pointing fingers when something isn’t right. Where we manage the full supply and installation, our same team handles your court surface, hoop and netting with clear accountability from start to finish.

Products We’re Proud to Put Our Name On

We only supply hoops and netting we’d put on our own courts. MegaSlam is the best consumer hoop on the Australian market. Our netting is heavy-duty and built for daily use in Australian conditions. We don’t cut corners on accessories because the finished court carries our name, and that matters to us.

SOME OF OUR COMMON QUESTIONS

Common Questions About Basketball Hoops & Netting

What's the difference between adjustable and fixed height hoops?

Adjustable hoops let you change the ring height from a lower setting up to 10ft regulation height. They’re ideal for courts used by players of different ages or skill levels. Fixed height hoops are set at regulation height (10ft) and don’t move. They’re the right choice for courts used exclusively by adult or competitive players.

It depends on how your court will be used and your available budget. The adjustable range suits most residential and school courts. The fixed height range is the better choice for competitive club environments or where a permanent commercial-grade installation is the priority. The wall mount option is the right call where a ground-mounted pole isn’t feasible. Get in touch, and we’ll help you work out the right model for your specific setup.

Yes. If you have an existing court surface, we can assess the site and recommend the right hoop for your setup. The process depends on the surface type and what groundwork has already been done. Get in touch, and we’ll take it from there.

It depends on your site. If your court backs up against a fence with neighbouring properties, netting is worth the investment. It keeps the ball contained and removes one of the more common frustrations of backyard play. Our fence mount option is a cost-effective solution for most residential setups. If you’re unsure what’s right for your site, we’ll advise you as part of the quoting process.

For commercial and school facilities, our heavy-duty netting or chainlink fencing is generally the right choice. Both options are built for higher-traffic environments and provide a more substantial perimeter solution than the fence mount system. Pricing on the chainlink and mesh option is provided on application, as it depends on your site.

Yes. If you’re commissioning a full court build with us, hoops and netting are coordinated as part of the same project. We specify the right hoop for your court type from the start, source it directly through our MegaSlam or Lifetime hoop partnerships, and install it as part of the build. Nothing is left to a separate contractor.
